FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Web Authoring (C20148)

Course Overview

This course is suitable for individuals wishing to create, design and maintain a website. The course covers the essential elements of web authoring including HTML CSS and Dreamweaver .

Course Content

At the end of this course learners will be able to:

• Be familiar with Hypertext Marking Language (HTML) tags and the use of HTML editors.
• Design, construct and maintain Web pages and site.
• Acquire the necessary skills and knowledge of design principles for supporting the building, testing and refining of Web pages and sites.

Assessment

In order to successfully complete the module participants will be required to complete a project.

Award

Upon successful completion of the module participants will be awarded a FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Web Authoring.

Entry Requirements

Participants should have a, Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualifications and/or relevant life and work experiences.

Duration

14 weeks, 2.5 hours per week.
